My Weekend
Here it is....week 4 and I can now fit in my next size down...albeit a little tight around the waist but the rest fits real nice. I am not as faithful as I should be but I am busting it to reach my goal weight and size...The weekends are usually killers but I do my excercise so I feel like I am at least having some control over my weaknesses.

My Challenge Week 3
Ok so here is my suger saver...when ever I need a treat or something filling I go to this cookie it is called Dr. Mike's Power Cookie. This cookie is only 127 calories, it is fiber filled and can count as 1 protein and 1 starch for the day. I eat it for breakfast, as a midday snack or after dinner dessert rarely. Here is the recipe:
1/3 cup unsweetend applesauce 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2 tablespoon almod paste 1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon flaxseed oil 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup agave nectar (light or dark) 1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 large egg 1/4 cup vanilla whey powder
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla 2 cups oats
3/4 cup whole wheat flour 1 cup dried cherries ( I use craisens )
10 packets of Truvia 1/2 cup sliced almonds
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together applesauce, almond paste, flaxseed oil, Truvia and agave nectar. Beat in egg and vanila. Mix well. Add flour, baking soda, salt, pepper, and whey powder. Beat thoroughly. Stir in oats, dried fruit and almonds. Mix well. Drop the batter by large tablespoons onto a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with vegetable cooking spray. Divide dough so that you have 18 cookies. Flatten each cookie with the back of the spoon. Bake 16 to18 minutes or until brown. Remove from oven. Cool and store in a plastic container.

Week 3 of my Challenge
Ok so I had a real baaaaaadddddd week last week. But I fullfilled my goal for the week and took off to Tucson to see my BFF from 6th grade. She lives in Wyoming but has a fabulous place in Marana by the Tortalita Mountains. We always have fun and fun I did have. So I am ready to get back in the saddle and continue on my challenge. Blogging is not my thing so I find it very hard to keep up with my journal, however it does keep me on task and I feel better once I have done this. So until tomorrow!!!!

Challenge Day 6
Well it's Saturday and the challenge is going to be real tough as there is nothing to really keep my mind off of snacking on sweets. But after I had my shower I thought I would put on my caprice jeans and see if I could fit in them. Yeah! They fit!!! So I thought they were 14's and I was pretty happy because they fit pretty decent. I couldn't get in to them before, when I checked the size I was amazed to find out that they were really 12's. It's been 6 years since I was a 12. They are 12 mediums but I don't care...so now I am truly a believer in healthy eating and excercising. I am not going backwards I am going forward and downward....

Day 3 of my challenge
Sooooo today is my 3rd day of the challenge. I did not blog last nite as I was sooooo tired!!! However, I did fit my excercise in. Again, my challenge is blogging or as I call it scrapbooking on line (boooooo, yuk)...I am going to try to be dilligent however. I have found a cookie that is healthy and sugerfree. It also has fruit!!! (That is hard for me to be diligent about too). I will get the recipe and post it on my blog. I have a good friend at work who makes it for me though, but she says it isn't hard and one or two a day not only fills you up, because it has fiber; but it satisfies the sweet tooth and is healthy too. So keep moving on and up gang...WE CAN DO IT!!!

Challenge Day 1
March 7th...This morning was the first day of my mental and physical challenge to be master of my weight and health. No matter the pressures of the day, my goal was to stay busy, stay positive, and stay the course. My challenge was drinking water. I do not crave water but since I am now watching what I drink and knowing soft drinks, crystal lite, herb tea do not count toward my water, I have had to force myself to drink water and stay hydrated throughout the day. This is going to be tough. After work, I went to Briauna and Brian's house for a birthday dinner for her dad. It was good healthy food, with salad and WATER to drink. B also showed me how to blog, so I could fulfill my other challenge and that is to journal. The next hardest thing to do is to read something that is uplifting or something that makes me feel good when I read. I don't even have time to read in the bathroom let alone in bed before I go to sleep. My challenges are not the physical ones so much as the mental ones to force me to make time for myself. This is going to be interesting.
